MÁRIO CESARINY (9 August 1923 – 26 November 2006)
The Cupertino de Miranda Foundation and one of the great Masters of Surrealism, Mário Cesariny, had a close relationship. Holding the legacy of the artist (part of his library and his art and document collection), the Foundation hosts annual meetings in November to honour one of the main representatives of Portuguese and international Surrealism, considered one of the big names in national culture.
The programme is vast and includes workshops on artistic expression, book releases, poetry recitals, and much more.
