The Library of the Cupertino de Miranda Foundation began its activity in 1971 and opened officially on 8 December 1972.
Its mission is to collect, process, organise, disseminate, and preserve information resources, thus fulfilling the mission envisioned by the Founder in terms of access to education and culture, providing means for the people of Famalicão and beyond to access all the resources free of charge.
