ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION OF THE CUPERTINO DE MIRANDA FOUNDATION

The current Articles of Association of the Cupertino de Miranda Foundation were approved by order of the Minister of the Presidency and Parliamentary Affairs on 27 October 2015. They can be found on the Justice Portal.

• Articles of Association of 15 August 1963, approved by order of 2 October 1963, published in the Official Gazette No. 279, III Series, of 28 November 1963.
• Articles of Association of 15 July 1964, Foundation recognised by order of 12 November 1964, published in the Official Gazette No. 279, III Series, of 27 November 1964.
• Amendment to the Articles of Association of 1 March 1971, approved by Order of 19 May 1971, published in the Official Gazette No. 147, III Series, of 24 June 1971.
• Amendment to the Articles of Association of 28 December 1982, approved by order of 27 December 1985, published in the Official Gazette No. 62, III Series, of 15 March 1986.
• Amendment to the Articles of Association of 21 June 1991, approved by order of 30 December 1992, published in the Official Gazette No. 112, III Series, of 14 May 1993.
• Amendment to the Articles of Association in 2015, approved by order of the Minister of the Presidency and Parliamentary Affairs on 27 October 2015.

INCORPORATION AND RECOGNITION

The Cupertino de Miranda Foundation was created at the initiative of Arthur Cupertino de Miranda and his wife Elzira Celeste Maya de Cupertino de Miranda, who donated part of their personal assets to the Foundation and registered its Articles of Association on 15 August 1963.

These Articles of Association were approved by order of His Excellency the Minister of Health and Assistance on 2 October 1963 and published in the Official Gazette, No. 279, III Series, of 28 November 1963.

REPORTING AND ACCOUNTS

The annual accounts of the Cupertino de Miranda Foundation and the opinion issued by the Supervisory Board are approved and sent to the competent authority by 30 April of the following year. These accounts are audited by Pricewaterhouse Coopers & Associates – SROC, Lda, an independent firm of auditors.
